1.6657 alloy steel is also known as case hardened steel, used for forgings, has high profitability, wear-resistant qualities, and is suitable for parts with larger diameters

Characteristic: Very high surface strength and soft but strong core, high toughness and fatigue resistance
Heat Treatment Process:
Soft annealing temperature: 825°C
Hardening temperature: 825~850°C
Tempering temperature: 140~200°C
Applications
1.6657 case-hardened steel for large diameter components including gears, planets, drive pinions, shafts, bushings and sleeves, etc.
